Paint the Town
Since 1994, NeighborWorks® DHR and South Dakota Housing have partnered to “Paint the Town.” This annual event takes place every spring during the first three weeks of June. Paint the Town is designed to be a community-based program to paint homes for single parents, seniors, people with disabilities, and other homeowners with a limited capacity. Teams of volunteers coordinate supplies and work together to paint homes.

With our partnership with Black Hills Power, we weatherized 30 homes in 11 communities.
